Nasu full Moon Party - With the lustrous and serene Moon
The Sixth Moon Viewing Party on July 1st (Sunday) 2018
Tanabata (the Star Festivall on July 7th)and Shitsurai (special decoration for the day of festival and ceremony)
Kangetsu-kai is the special night talk event held monthly under the full moon.This year, we will cover the topics about the old calendar and the Japanese traditional culture.Until the Edo Period, we had been using the lunar calendar, a calendar based upon cycles of the Moon’s phases.It is believed that the lunar rhythms and various aspects of our livings including agricultural practice, fishing and human fertility are corresponding. Let’s learn how the lunar phases have made an effect on the Japanese traditional culture.

Moon viewing walk (The Botanical Garden)
Party (finger foods and drinks will be served)
